He zipped under tables and chairs as shortcuts, and soon found himself blocked in front of a pair of thin legs. “Marble! There you are!” Lucy said, picking up the Yorkshire terrier. Marble licked Lucy’s tan face, and her blue eyes sparkled with happiness. “Awww, you are the sweetest baby-doll any girl could ask for, Marble.” Marble writhed and wiggled in Lucy’s hands and she leg him down onto the pink carpet.
